The Tomb was Empty

Churchflwrs-2

Another Easter weekend has come and gone...a glorious time each year to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus!

Churcheaster-15

Kim and I joined our church family for a wonderful worship service...

Churcheaster-3

..and breakfast with some of our favorite people!

The Gray kids and a few of their church buddies...

Churcheaster-14

Zach and Emily...

Kudos to Emily for staying up late Saturday night to help chaperone prom and then making it to the early worship service!

Churcheaster-6

Ditto for sweet Sami!  Not many teenagers show up at church the Sunday morning after prom. But she's not your ordinary teenager...she's extra-special!

Churcheaster-8

Speaking of extra-special...these two.  These two.

Leann and CJ are so much more than our pastor and his wife...they were dear friends long before he ever became our pastor. And he's also my bossman...the best boss I could ever have! Love them!

Churcheaster-1

And THIS precious family...oh how I adore them!  My oldest son Kristoffer and his family....Dana, Kassie and Kelsey (4 years old), Kaden (7), and Karter (8 1/2). Don't they all look dashing?!

Churcheaster-19

Our very dear friends that are really family now (if they'll claim us...) since their daughter/sister Kara is our daughter-in-law. Love me some Mortons!

Churcheaster-9

More sweet friends...Peggy is much more than a friend.  She prayed me through my cancer fight, cleaned, cooked, and pampered me all the way. Loved her forever and more all the time! I just had to take a photo of her so color-coordinated with her two grandsons Zach and Nick.

Churcheaster-10

More dear friends...the Mousty clan...Madison, Rhonda, Rich, and Mikka...

Churcheaster-11

Ken and Terri Chapman, neighbors and friends for nearly 30 years (Wow....does that make us "old" friends?!)....

Churcheaster-21

Our family life minister Bryan with his wife Sam... No, Bryan is not sporting a flower in his hair. The photographer did not check her background carefully.

Churcheaster-16

The Waggener clan...Ginny, Lydia, Luke, and Warren...

Churcheaster-26

The Adams family (I dare you not to snap your fingers!)...Jodi, Keith, Denny, and Jessica...

Churcheaster-34

And the rest of Jessica's family, the Larson crew...Kyle, Paige, and Parker...

Churcheaster-36

Sweet Kay and Kim, who are probably going to hate this photo but I think it's a great one of a beautiful mother/daughter duo....

Churcheaster-7

Jacket-twins...Kristy and Leann...

Churcheaster-23

Beautiful Bergacs bunch...Jamie, Joe, and Evelyn....

Churcheaster-20

Young teens...Abby and Hannah. When did they grow up into young women?!

Churcheaster-31

And their younger sisters, plus one...Anna, Ashley, and Lydia. Blink my eyes and they'll be teenagers too...

Churcheaster-24

Our friend Chuck Bell and his children and grandchildren...

Churcheaster-13

And these two BFFs, Grace and Willow...

Churcheaster-12

Churcheaster-28

Churcheaster-30

Willow's baby sister Marli. Grace will be catching up soon with her own baby sister in June...

Churcheaster-39

I have a special love for the church front row gang!

Churcheaster-35

As well as a special fondness for these church back rowers...Janelle and her father Ed, who at 98 years old is the church's oldest member.

Churcheaster-4

Our church family is full of special people and I couldn't begin to get my camera around to photograph them all.

Churcheaster-25

But we all gathered together in our little country church on a fabulous Easter Sunday morning, dressed in our new spring finest, to celebrate the greatest gift ever given the world...

Churchflwrs-1

Praising God that...

....the tomb was empty.
