Mid-Town Basketball

Kadbb-68

How do we brighten up our dreary Hoosier winter Saturday mornings?

Watching our two oldest grandsons Kaden (1st grade) and Karter (3rd grade) play basketball, of course!

This child sleeps, eats, and breathes basketball...and each Saturday morning is the highlight of Kaden's week!

A few photos from 7-year-old Kaden's games over the past several weeks....

With just a few more games to go, I'm pretty sure Kaden's team is still unbeaten. And he's a big reason for that...he's always scoring in the double digits...22 points in this particular game.  Like I said, Kaden LIVES for basketball and he's really good at it!

Karter's team, having lost just once, is also tops in the 2nd/3rd grade league, and many games he's the high scorer. Karter's (8 1/2 years old now...how can that be?!) is fast and a good ball-handler, and over the season has gotten a lot more aggessive on rebounding and defense.

And the boy has a unique style on the court!  A few shots of my sweet Karterman...

Saturday mornings...breakfast, a thermos full of hot coffee, and a few hours...
