Before the singing began, we visited his classroom. A dangerous place for me to venture...I get the schoolhouse/teaching itch when I see all this adorableness!
And then, thankfully, I come back to my senses....
His 6-year-old Christmas list...hope Santa sees it! Gramaw sure did!
He loved showing us everything and his 4-year-old sisters took it all in.
Kaden with his teacher Mrs. Shore. She says she's never had a student like Kaden...I KNOW she hasn't and probably never will again! (That IS a compliment...right?!) Kaden's very, very gifted (must take after Gramaw!) and is reading chapter books many 6th-graders couldn't finish. Plus he's a math whiz (now I know he didn't inherit that particular gift from me...)...
No brag, just fact.
We found our seats and waited for the first-graders to walk in.
Why can't I get him to give Gramaw THAT smile when I take his photo?! He is SO STINKIN' CUTE!!!
Don't you just love a 6-year-old toothless grin?!
He nailed his spoken part! Of course he did!
Quartet time...great job, Kaden!
Shenandoah Elementary music teacher, Mrs. Wendy Lipps...I think with a name like hers, she was destined to be a singer...or a teacher...or both! She does a wonderful job with the children.
Greetings from Papaw...
Not sure what Papaw is doing here...I don't think Kristoffer or Kaden quite know either. Love my Gray men!
A quick family photo before we head out into the cold, blustery, snowy night...
A good time was had by all (except the baby who screamed through most of the program...) at the...
...first grade Christmas concert.
