The Texas Houses do not come quietly and peacefully...they are a family full of energy and life! Even though they turn her world upside down for a few days, Mama loves it!

Kyler and Kara were able to meet up with us at Mama's one day.  Alli checked out my newest granddaughter, Lucy.

And, of course, almost-10-year-old Blaise and 6 1/2-year-old Scout wanted their turn holding little Lucy-doll too!

Abram met Dude...

...who wasn't as keen on Abram as Abram was on him!

Amidst the chaos of the week, Dude fled out the door and is now MIA. We're really hoping he comes back, but I have to admit it's not looking likely after being gone over a week.

Sweet little Lucy loves all the attention...isn't she PRECIOUS?!

Mark and gang have a new pet named Taffy.  Yes, the pup traveled in the van with the 5 of them all the way from Texas!

Alli introduced Abram to Taffy. 

Mama's dining room was transformed into a gymnastics arena!  These girls have so much energy!

Abram was pretty busy himself!  

Mama's front porch is the best hang-out spot around!  Kyler fed Lucy...

...then Gramaw (ignore the witchy-hair!) took over...

...while the gang ate lunch, some take-out tenderloins from a local restaurant.

Just before we left, a bonus visit from Aunt Caralou...who also met Miss Lucy!

We love our Texas peeps and always enjoy their...

...friendly invasion.
