Praise God for 59!!!

Last year at this time, I wasn't so sure I'd see my next birthday.

I had turned 58 the day after I was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer.

Not only was I reeling from that devastating news, my beloved Daddy was in a rapid downhill health spiral that led to him going home to Heaven on the day of my first chemo treatment just 3 weeks later.

No, the year I spent at 58 years old was not the best year of my life, although it definitely did have some highlights (the births of two perfect, beautiful granddaughters top that list!)...but there seemed to be a lot more lowlights than highlights.

59 is off to a much happier start!

I spent my birthday weekend surrounded by all 4 of my precious children and their families!

All 8 grandchildren (Juni and Lucy weren't quite old enough to help blow out the candles) celebrated with me!

I feel so blessed and loved and joyfull!

And, while I certainly look forward to the day I meet my Savior in Heaven, I am not quite ready to leave my precious ones here on earth yet.

And I am very, very grateful for another birthday!

Praise God for 59!!!

Everyone around you is glad you are here on earth, too! You can sure tell all your grandchildren are related. Adorable! Happy 59, Terry.

Happy Birthday! When we told Abram it was Grandma's birthday, he immediately wanted to know if he could blow out the candles. I'm so glad you had so much help!
