I've found myself daydreaming of tropical places lately.

This is usually the week that Kim and I jet off for some fun in the sun.  But this year, because of my illness/surgeries, it just wasn't happening. And I have to admit, I'm feeling a little melancholy about it.

I realized yesterday that I somehow or other, even though I shouted it from the housetops all last week, neglected to share with you my incredible, miraculous news...

Minor surgery, yes...but it doesn't feel "minor" when it's your baby!
