Spring is, of course, still a good month away.  But with the mild winter we've had, I'm wondering if this might be our final farewell to snow for the season.

I know I'm in the minority around these parts, but I actually like the snow.  I'd much rather see a pristine white ground than the ugliness of brown/gray/black when there's no snow cover.  I feel a little cheated this year in the snow category, since we've really had very little to speak of.

It was beautiful while it lasted, but by the end of the day the final patches of the white stuff will be gone...leaving an ugly, muddy, brown/gray/black mess behind.

But those warmer temperatures sure make it feel like spring is definitely around the corner.  So, for now...

....bye-bye snow.
