The day after Christmas, our whole Gray clan converged on the cabin for our own special family celebration.

All 4 of our children and their families, including all 7 of the grandchildren (well...8, if I count the one not yet born!) were there...Krew (22 months), Kaden (5 1/2), Kassie (3), Abram (21 months), Kelsey (3)...

Everyone who knows us knows that when the House family gets together, there's plenty of hoopla.

This Christmas Day, we were down in numbers...only 17 of us...but definitely UP in Christmas spirit!

Santa came, oh yes he did, to the home of our 4 oldest grandchildren!

My Christmas tree is still up...and will be for another week or so.  I love the cozy, earthy feel it gives the cabin...and me.

As I'm waiting for the sun to come up (this gorgeous sunrise was from a few days ago) on this morning before Christmas, a few thoughts to share...

Papaw and I have missed our Gray-babies, and we were thrilled to get to watch them Saturday morning while their Daddy Kamaron did some Christmas shopping.

I was probably one of the last folks in Henry County to get their Christmas tree.

Kim, my sister Barb, her husband John, and I finished our last day on the beach with a Christmas walk in beautiful downtown Beaufort, North Carolina.

While on our beach vacation, we took one afternoon to embark on a new adventure for all 4 of us...geocaching.

We all knew a little about this "treasure hunt" activity, but none of us knew much. Barb did a little research and signed us up on the Geocaching App as the HoosierGrayFoxes...and we were off!
