Springtime at the Cabin
05/28/2015
A few photos from around our cabin home...
Honeysuckle gone wild along the split rail fence....
Hardy geraniums...
Kim's vegetable garden...
Irises galore...
I've always loved ferns. These came from Kim's grandma's house...
Not sure what the correct name for this ground-cover is, but we call it snow-on-the-mountain...
Our field of corn, my view from the cabin front porch...
I love the wide open spaces of the country!!!
Lovely lavender...
I don't remember the name of this flowering bush, but I adore its hanging pink bells...
Another pretty flowering bush whose name escapes me (if I ever knew it...)...
There's no place on earth I'd rather be right now, than enjoying...
...springtime at the cabin.
Your flower and home pictures are super!
Looks like a perfect place to live.

Terry...
After seeing your comments on Zanzibar, I must tell you that our 25 year old granddaughter Elissha (Mark's) spent an Earlham semester there and thinks it is heaven on earth. Surprising, after reading your story. She left on May 1 for Tanzania where she signed a year's contract at a eco/girls school as director.
The picture was painted as rosy but turns out not to be. She's trying to make the best of it.
