Lloyd Hathcock Whitley (1848-1923) and his wife Susannah Hinson Whitley (1850-1947) from Stanley County, North Carolina.

I'm guessing this photo was taken in the 1915 range.  I look into their faces and I wonder so many things.  What kind of people were they?  I wish I could step back in time and have a little conversation with them.  

So very, very interesting and a part of who I am today.
