Evening in B-town
08/19/2014
While Mommy Anique and Daddy Kamaron were bridesmaid/groomsman in Anique's brother's wedding on the Indiana University campus, Kim and I hung out with Krew where all the cool students hang out, on Kirkwood.
Because, of course, we're cool.
The wedding and reception were in Franklin Hall, the building on the far left, on the oldest part of campus right next to the famous (if you're an IU person) Sample Gates. When the wedding was ready to start, Kim and Krew and I headed out for a bite to eat...
...at Noodles and Company, where Krew cooed and giggled as he people-watched while Kim and I ate.
Then we walked another block to get ice cream for dessert.
We may or may not have given Krewman a few bites...which he may or may not have ADORED and smacked his lips and begged for more. If we did, that is...(have I mentioned how much we LOVE being grandparents???...rules are optional....)........
When we got a text from Anique that the wedding was over (aren't cell phones great for that type of thing?!), we strolled Krew back to the campus for a couple of family shots while they were all spiffed up.
Kim got behind me, jumping around and making silly faces to get Krew to smile...
...but I think Anique was more entertained than Krew was!
Krew is definitely a Gray man...strong-willed and cute as a button!
Anique and Kamaron make one gorgeous couple! Not that I'm the least bit prejudiced....
After the photo shoot, we drove to the home of my sweet sister Barb who, even though they were gone for the weekend, left us the key to the Fox den and allowed us to hang out there for the evening.
Krew alternated between giggling and fussing...I know he had to be tired, as he'd been off his schedule and probably wallered all day long by people holding him. He just needed some down time.
And of course, I had to sneak in with my phone for a quick photo of sleeping Krew to text to his mommy and daddy. Is there anything sweeter than a sleeping baby?
Fun times with Krew and company...
...an evening in B-town.
