It's the favorite of a lot of other Emerald Isle vacationers too, and with our large party we usually have a short wait.

Sitting right on the water of Bogue Sound, there's lots to see to pass the time.  Kelsey loved watching the birds and the boats!

It's always our first restaurant stop on the island, and this is the main reason why...the BEST HUSHPUPPIES this side of heaven!!!

...and Abram are still on all-milk diets, so they didn't get to nibble on hushpuppies this trip.

The seafood there is awesome as well, nothing gourmet just plain old good....it's a must-visit on every trip to Emerald Isle.

My favorite restaurant in the whole entire world (I can't imagine how any other one could possibly beat it!)...

...the one-and-only original Crab Shack.
