Two Grandson Selfies
The Sugarhouse

WeensieOnes Photography

If this photo looks vaguely familiar, it's because I posted some similar ones of Krew last week.

This morning I discovered 20 more photos from the same photo camera has two memory cards and they were on the other card!  So of course, I had to share a couple of my favorites as well as share with you a new venture I'm trying out.

I'm calling it "WeensieOnes Photography."  Not a business, but an opportunity to do what I love while helping raise funds for babies in crisis.

With so many babies in our lives right now, both grandbabies as well as babies in our church family, I've been taking some classes and learning lots about photographing newborns.  And I love it!  I'm not quite sure how this will all shake out and I'm testing the waters a bit, but God has provided some opportunities to melt my love of photography with my love for babies together to hopefully make a small difference in the lives of infants who have a rough start in the world.

Many of you know that Kim and I are passionate about Mahali pa Maisha, an infant rescue center that our friends Dave and Jen started and run in Kenya.  Some of the money raised will definitely go to help them save abandoned babies there, and wherever the need arises elsewhere.  We shall see where God leads as I step out and venture down this new path.

So...if you are pregnant or know someone that is who lives within reasonable driving distance and are interested in allowing me the privilege of photographing your newborn (preferably 2 weeks old and younger), email me at and we'll see what we can work out.  Although I've been mulling this over for months, the concept is still evolving...I've just decided to finally take that first step down a path that I feel has been laid before me.  It may quickly dead-end or it may lead to something grand...either way, I'm excited to see where it goes.

Guess I'll just start spreading the word and see what happens on my new venture...

...WeensieOnes Photography.

Sounds perfect! May God bless your new venture and the many babies you will photograph and help .
