ALL IS CALM, ALL IS BRIGHT
Very early in the morning, before the break of dawn.
The house is quiet, still, and cozy.
Of all my Christmas decorations, I love the lights best and put them everywhere!
A bright Light shining in the dark world...
Christmas lights remind me of our Savior's birth, the Light of the World!
The house feels magical, as if the nutcrackers are watching over us and could come to life as in a fairy tale...
...showcasing 30 years of Santa-collecting...
...and my own Santa-crafting. This is one of the first Santas I ever made...what an ambitious project he was!
Another of my handmade Santas on the mantel reminds us of the reason for the season, while watching over a photo of my own four children visiting Santa when they were young.
Shiny ornaments...
...treasures....
...and always, everywhere, LIGHTS!
I love coming home in the dark with candles illuminating the cold winter outside, a warm and cozy haven beckoning me.
The days of the Christmas season can be filled with craziness, busyness, and stress, so I cherish those early predawn hours when...
...all is calm and all is bright!
