Four Grandmas

4grams-6

What's better than 2 great-grandmas?

4grams-21

Four GREAT grandmas coming to visit!

Grandma Peggy (Kara's mom), Great-Grandma Maxine (Peggy's mother-in-law), Mama (aka "Gran-Gran"), and I took a day trip to Ohio to visit Kara and the three children.  Kyler was probably glad he had to work....

4grams-28

Sweet little Daniel (he's 1 month old today!) was the star attraction...

4grams-25

But of course his two sidekicks were entertaining too!

Say "CHEESE"!  String mozzarella to be specific....

4grams-2

We wanted the great-grandmamas to get to hold and snuggle Daniel while he was still tiny.  Because you know, they grow so fast!

Daniel wisely keeps a close eye on sister Lucy...

4grams-2

Lucy vacuumed up some crumbs, then chased her brother around the house.

4grams-17

Those eyes just twinkle orneriness!

4grams-16

We had road races....

...and rocket launches.

4grams-30

Abram explained the scientific details of rocket launches to Gran-Gran...

...and told her, in all his 4-year-old innocence, that she had dinosaur hands.

Mama was a bit taken aback at first, but then I told her how much Abram LOVED dinosaurs and in the eyes of a 4-year-old boy that was a huge compliment.  I mean, who wouldn't WANT dinosaur hands?!

I just love the way a toddler mind thinks!

4grams-33

Daniel enjoyed just chillin'....

4grams-33

And this girl rarely chills...but she's just so stinkin' CUTE!!!

4grams-21
A wonderful day of full of energy and snuggles for...

...four grandmas.
