A Cardinal and an Oriole

Karbb-8

Our favorite Cardinal....

Karter, who will be 10 years old next month, moved up into the youth baseball major league this year.

Karbb-6

It's a big jump, from being one of the stars on his minor league team to being the youngest on the majors.

Karbb-6

Kristoffer is one of his coaches.

Karbb-6

Always a good reminder.....

Karbb-9

Karbb-6

He hasn't gotten any hits yet this year, but he has been walked a few times....

Karbb-14

Stolen some bases...

Whew!  That was too close!

And scored a few runs for his team.

Karter is a smart player and a good fielder who understands the game.

Karbb-45

Speaking of understanding the game, what these three generations of Gray men don't know about baseball ain't worth knowing....

Kassie might learn a thing or two...or get a tickle from Papaw if she's not careful...

Or maybe that's her whole intention....

Karbb-19

I adore this sweet kid, the one who made me a Gramaw almost ten years ago and changed my life forever!

Kadbb-7

Talk about adoring...this little Oriole has a chunk of my heart too!

Kadbb-1

While his older brother is the youngest on his team, 8-year-old Kaden is moving up in the ranks on his minor league team and is one of its leaders this year.

Kaden's had some great hits, including starting off the season with an inside-the-park home run.

Kadbb-10

He's also one of the team's pitchers.

Kaden is a smart player and does a great job at whatever position he plays...infield, pitcher, or catcher.

Kadbb-24

Daddy Kristoffer manages the Orioles...in his apparently favorite coaching position....

Kadbb-24

Kaden has spunk and personality, and is definitely a vocal leader!

Kadbb-24

Love this kid!!!

My favorite birds of summertime...

...a Cardinal and an Oriole.
