"Lick and Turn"
Back to School

What a fun day yesterday, as we introduced "Lick and Turn" to the world!

And what a fitting place to begin...in the basement of White Branch Church of the Brethren, the small country church where Dave and I both grew up.

The book recounts the life (so far!) of Dave and Jen Bell (on left), how God called them out of their comfortable, successful American-dream life into full-time missionary work rescuing abandoned babies in Kenya.

My cousin Kent was Dave's best friend in high school and Kent's wife Sandy was Jenny's best friend...in fact, God used Kent and Sandy to orchestrate Dave and Jen's first date. And the rest, as they say, is history.

It was a wonderful day, not only selling and signing books, but much more than that as I got to visit with so many of my family members and friends from the past.

There really is no place like home.

Then yesterday evening we did another book event at Tabor Church near Muncie, Dave and Jen's home/sending church. An exhausting but exhilarating day!

If you'd like to get a signed copy, I'd be thrilled to mail you one!  Send me an email at graybunch@gmail.com and I'll give you the info you need.  Mailed books are $17 (which includes shipping costs).  ALL PROCEEDS from the book will go back into the infant rescue ministry in Kenya.

Praise God!  The day we worked for so long finally arrived.

The book is...

So exciting for all of you! And such a great cause. Terry, you have a wonderful niche: writing memoirs of fascinating people. Thank you for allowing me to write a story coming out this Sunday. I'm also privileged to have been your first official "customer."

Awesome - I will need to get a "signed" copy :)
