2017 Photo Diary - May 16-31

A few daily images from the second half of May (yes, I'm a little behind...and yes, I did miss a couple of days...oh well...).....

May 16.  "Purple Beauty"

My 21-month-old beautiful granddaughter Juni...

May 17.  "Grace's Place"

Friends reconnecting with a former Shenandoah teacher at her coffee shop...

May 19.  "West Baden Springs Resort"

And since I missed May 18, I'll throw in an extra one for May 19...the inside of the hotel.  Just gorgeous!

(As you can see, I'm making the rules up for this "daily" diary as I go...)

May 20.  "Pioneer Still Life"

Spring Mill State Park Pioneer Village...I'm enthralled by all things pioneer...

May 21.  "Bean Blossom Covered Bridge"

May 22.  "Celebrating 60"

Mama and me with spice cake on our special day.  I made her Mama!

May 23.  "Lightroom on Tour with Scott Kelby"

My birthday treat to myself, a day-long seminar in Indy with the famous Scott Kelby teaching me how to edit photos using Lightroom.  Awesome day!

May 24.  "May Sunrise"

May 25.  "So. Much. Rain."

Over 8" in 24 hours...

May 27.  "Surprise!"

Pulled off a big surprise when I bought Kim a fishing boat.

And since I missed May 26, an extra one of the boat. With a bonus rainbow!

May 28.  "Maiden Voyage Catch"

Karter earned the distinction of having the first fish caught from Kim's new boat.

May 29.  "Rookie Help"

Mark and Ethan, visiting from Texas, helped us butcher chickens...a first for both of them.

May 30.  "Sweetie in Sweet Shop"

I took Blaise on our traditional buying spree at Hagerstown's candy shop.

May 31.  "Heading Back South"

Mark has our Grandpa Britt's tractor loaded up to take to Texas.  Grandpa used that tractor to work his North Carolina ground.  It's been in Indiana about 20 years and now it's heading back south.

Have a terrific weekend, y'all!
